Rachel Endo is an award-winning and inter/nationally recognized Asian/American educator, leader, and scholar who proudly promotes equity and excellence in education.

Since July 2017, Endo has served as Founding Dean and a Professor in the School of Education at UW Tacoma, where she is also a member of the UW Doctoral and Graduate Faculty.

Significantly, Endo believes in the transformative power of education to democratize knowledge for a greater good, especially for historically underserved communities and individuals.

About

Rachel Endo (PhD, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign/SPHR-HRCI) is an award-winning Asian/American educator, leader, and scholar. She is inter/nationally recognized for advancing equity, excellence, and innovation in education. Endo holds x > 20 years of award-winning leadership experience, including as a multi-term academic dean, department chair, and program director.

Moreover, Endo specializes in equity-focused approaches for designing, implementing, and assessing evidence-based curricular, instructional, leadership, and policy frameworks. She has served as an external program evaluator and supports organizations seeking to prepare for respond to state, regional, and/or national accreditation reviews.

Endo supports organizations in assessing, launching, and revising equity-conscious initiatives focused on leadership and organizational development. Organizations regularly request her services for launching, assessing, and redesigning mentoring initiatives and programs that support the thriving of diverse employees and learners. In addition, she is in-demand to facilitate professional development workshops for educators and leaders who are seeking to positively transform their skills for their organization to thrive at scale.
